Business After Hours are held in a variety of
interesting locations throughout the metro Milwaukee area and regularly
attract 100-200 business people. The events are designed to facilitate
networking in a casual, social atmosphere.
CEO Roundtable Golf Outing - The CEO Roundtable
Golf Outing is a very popular
social gathering for participants of the CEO Roundtable program. Be
part of this annual event that has been a sell-out for more than 18
years.
CFO Brewers Outing - This annual event brings
Executive Roundtable members and their guests
together for Brewers game in the exclusive Gehl Club to share business
stories, lunch and great baseball.
Future 50 Award Luncheon - This annual program
recognizes the fastest-growing companies in the Milwaukee Region with
an awards luncheon and evening networking reception.
Milwaukee Bucks Preview Luncheon is hosted annually
in
conjunction with the Milwaukee Bucks basketball organization in
October/November to kick off a new season. The program begins with a
reception and free-throw contest, followed by lunch and a
question-and-answer session with coaches, the general manager and team
players.

Economic Development
The Business Council (TBC) is an affiliate
organization of the MMAC dedicated to fostering the success of
ethnically-diverse businesses. Each year in October, they hold a
Strategic Partnership Luncheon with a high-profile speaker to highlight
the achievements possible through strategic partnerships.
FUEL Milwaukee is an affiliate organization of the
MMAC charged with making the Milwaukee Region a destination for local
and global talent. Various events, including Purely Socials, Access
and New Member Orientation events are held throughout the year.
MWTA
International Trade Conference - For more than 40 years, this
affiliate organization of the MMAC has been
helping companies go global. In 2009, more than 400 people attended the
annual May event and heard from experts on doing business in China.

Public Policy
Leadership Dialogue Series
gives MMAC members access to elected officials and public policy makers
having an impact on the Milwaukee business community. Top level
insiders give a short presentation followed by open discussion.
Blueprint Briefing Series updates members on the
progress being made on five key issue areas of
education, infrastructure, health care, taxes and economic
development. Each meeting features top level policy makers and
insiders who provide unique insight into these public policy issues as
well as
ways for members to get involved.
Madison
Night in Milwaukee and
Milwaukee Night in Washington D.C. are annual events that
highlight the contributions of the Milwaukee community to the strength and vitality of the entire state. Milwaukee Nights also provides an opportunity to say "thank you" to the many legislators, staff, members and administrators who work hard each day to help us achieve our legislative goals. These high-profile events are co-hosted by MMAC, the City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County.
MMAC All-Member Meeting - Held every other year,
this is the MMAC’s highest profile event. The luncheon meeting provides
key insights into the top issues facing the Milwaukee region —
including Education, Infrastructure, Taxes, Health Care and Economic
Development — and specific goals, timetables and commitments for
improving the regional economy. In 2009, more than 1,200 people
attended, including CEOs, community leaders and elected officials.
