Public Policy

MMAC serves as the region's advocate for business at the local, state and federal levels, representing the combined clout of diverse industry sectors throughout the four-county area. MMAC works to ensure that reality-based, pro-growth solutions are always included in the political debate. We offer numerous opportunities for business leaders to become involved in the political process, including forums and briefings with local, state and federal lawmakers.

Blueprint for Economic Prosperity

MMAC's public policy agenda for moving the region's economy forward - the Blueprint for Economic Prosperity - was launched in 2002 to address key challenges facing the region.  The Blueprint is updated every two years, reporting our accomplishments, ongoing challenges and new objectives.  The agenda focuses on the areas of education, infrastructure, taxes, health care and economic development.

MAC-PAC

The MAC-PAC is a political action committee that pools members' financial contributions for political donations to state and local candidates, committees and political parties.

MMAC Conduit

The MMAC Conduit serves as a political donation "checking account" for individual members. Members' contributions are recorded as an individual contribution, but acknowledged as part of MMAC's effort to support economic vitality and job growth in metropolitan Milwaukee.
