We’re proud of the work we do. It wouldn’t happen without you. FROM MMAC PRESIDENT TIM SHEEHY
If recent events have taught us anything, it’s the power of what we can accomplish together.
We see this collaborative spirit at work every day in the Milwaukee Region. It shows up in the resilience our business community showed during the pandemic, working together to keep our doors open while prioritizing the safety of our employees and customers. We see it in a united approach to addressing and reducing the racial inequalities that hold us all back from reaching our full potential. And we continue to bring together human resources leaders to share solutions to our most vexing challenges around talent attraction, development and retention. And we have much to celebrate. Development projects throughout our region highlight the blend of historic authenticity and new energy that make Milwaukee unique. The whole world witnessed that energy last year, when a packed Deer District cheered on the NBA Champion Milwaukee Bucks outside Fiserv Forum -- a transformative project that MMAC was proud to push across the finish line. And speaking of winning teams, not even a global pandemic could stop our economic development team, the Milwaukee 7 Development Partnership, from continuing to help our homegrown businesses expand and attract new businesses to our region. The vital behind the scenes work that keeps our region’s economy on track never stops. We’re proud to provide a platform for collaboration to help you solve challenges, insights to help you anticipate what’s coming next, and advocacy to ensure that the business community’s voice is represented in City Hall, Madison, and Washington. When you join the MMAC, you become part of an organization that has served Metro Milwaukee’s business community since 1861. And what was true back then remains true today: None of the work we do could happen without your support. To our MMAC members and M7 investors, thank you. And if you’re not currently involved, please reach out to our team. We need you on board, because the future competitiveness of our region is at stake every day. |
