The MMAC's World Trade Association (WTA) is the Midwest's largest and most experienced network of exporters, importers, suppliers, service providers and trade representatives from businesses, educational institutions and government alike. The WTA links companies and individuals with common interests and provides relevant educational programs, webinars, events and peer exchange forums you won't find anywhere else.
Held annually, the WTA's Wisconsin International Trade Conference is considered one of the best trade conferences in the country and is a must-attend for individuals involved in global trade. For more than 50 years, the Wisconsin International Trade Conference has combined informational breakout sessions covering a multitude of trade topics with nationally and internationally-known keynote speakers. The day-long event also includes the Governor's Export Achievement Awards, the President's "E" Award presented by the US Commercial Service, the SSA's Exporter of the Year Award followed by a networking reception. WTA's membership network is strong and growing with approximately half of WTA's members having been involved in international trade for more than 15 years. The WTA connects members to the trade resources and programs offered at the local. state and federal levels, including grants, scholarships and other sources of funding.
