Below are the proposed candidates for the MMAC Board of Directors and the ten current directors up for re-election.
CEO of Pindel Global Precision
Berrien is involved in Milwaukee's business community to bolster the training in manufacturing skills. He serves as an Industry Board Member for MSOE; member of the M7 Committee on Industry 4.0; and Machining Advisory Board member for Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC).
In 2016, Pindel Global Precision was awarded the Friend of Education Award by the School District of New Berlin and was recognized by the WI Dept. of Education for supporting education. Pindel was the first private sponsor of an industry collaboration space within MSOE’s under-construction Center for Cognitive Science building.
Previously, Bill served for nine years as a U.S. Navy SEAL officer where he led units on special operations globally. He received his bachelor’s from Princeton University and, following his service in the Navy, obtained a master’s in international affairs from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
Kalan Haywood, Sr.
President of Haywood Group
Founder and President of Haywood Group, Haywood has been a thought-leader in the real estate and business development industry. His primary responsibility is business development and casting vision for the company. Kalan engages business leaders in discussions around business capacity, community building and real estate development around the nation.
He is an active member of the The Business Council (TBC), National Realtors Association (NRA), Wisconsin Realtors Association (WRA), and the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors (GMAR). He studied architecture and urban planning at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Group President of Milwaukee Tool
Richman was appointed Group President of Milwaukee Tool in January 2007, and is responsible for Milwaukee’s Power Tool, Hand Tool, Accessory and Empire divisions. He oversees global product development, manufacturing and operations for each division, as well as Milwaukee® sales in North and South America. He has 25+ years of experience in the management of industrial, electrical, plumbing and retail distribution channels. He has held key management positions with BLACK & DECKER®, and MURRAY®, served as president of SKIL® and BOSCH® Power Tools, and served as president and CEO of Werner Co®.
Richman contributes an extensive knowledge of manufacturing, product development, sales, and marketing. He holds a bachelor’s degree from UCLA.
Group Executive, Debit & Fraud of FIS Payments
Schuld is the Group Executive for the FIS Payments Debit and Fraud Services Group. This includes FIS offerings in card and fraud processing for credit unions, banks and non-bank entities. She provides general business and operational leadership for this organization. In addition, Schuld is the site leader for FIS’ Milwaukee, WI location.
Schuld assumed her current role in December 2014, bringing 20+ years of experience in the payments and banking industry. Previously, she provided senior leadership for functional business areas within FIS, including implementation and conversion functions, product development and account management disciplines.
Maria received a bachelor’s degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. She also attended the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
