Small & midsize businesses
The Milwaukee Region’s small & medium sized businesses are a critical part of the economy - driving the region’s entrepreneurial innovation and job growth. Led by a representative group of CEOs, the Council of Small Business Executives (COSBE) has created resources and programs specifically focused on the needs of these companies with less than 300 employees.

How is MMAC looking out for me?
As you concentrate on growing your business, you can rely on us to keep an eye on the big picture. We know what policies can help you thrive, and what policies could hurt your business – and we make sure our elected officials know, too. We serve as your representative with local, state and national politicians, as we vigorously advocate for pro-business policies that directly impact your company’s bottom line. We are engaging with our region’s K-12 school system and higher education institutions to inspire the next generation of our work force. And as stewards of our region’s economic future, we also work to protect and promote the valuable civic assets that make our region a first-tier place to live, work and play.
Why does my membership matter?
The business leaders who came before us over the past 150-plus years had the vision and determination to set a course toward the growing, prosperous region we enjoy today. We owe it to those who come after us to leave the Milwaukee Region an even better place than the one we inherited. And we can’t do that without you, our members. Your dues investment in MMAC strengthens your business and makes a difference in our region’s business community.
