The company provides post-mold cleaning of iron castings to manufacturers in Iowa, Illinois and South Carolina, and is expanding to meet the increasing demands of the industry. Casting Cleaning Resources chose southeast Wisconsin because of its proximity to supply chain partners, a skilled workforce, and the high concentration of advanced manufacturing companies in the area. The company purchased the former Vollrath Co. facility in Menomonee Falls for its production operations.
Waukesha-based energy firm Generac is expanding its presence in Wisconsin by investing $53 million in its facilities across the state and creating more than 700 new jobs. The company’s investment includes the recent expansion of its corporate operations into the Village of Pewaukee with the purchase of a new building, plus the creation of 700 new manufacturing and office jobs throughout the state by the end of 2024. While the company’s global headquarters will remain in Waukesha, the new Pewaukee office will house 300 employees, allowing the company to continue expanding its research and development and headquarters functions to support significant global growth across multiple product lines.
