I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Paul Farrow, Waukesha County Executive. He was not only a personal friend but a friend to the community at large.

I worked with Paul in the State Assembly in 2011, a time marked by political upheaval. Throughout it all, Paul approached his role with a big heart and an eagerness to make an impact – two admirable qualities that defined him as a strong leader.

Paul’s dedication to his family was unwavering and inspiring. He carried forward a proud legacy of public service; his mom having served as the first female lieutenant governor of Wisconsin. That legacy was not only a point of personal pride but also a reflection of Paul’s belief that public service is a responsibility to elevate and advocate for the greater community.

It was this combination of leadership and personal conviction that made Paul such a respected colleague and friend. I am appreciative of the time I spent serving the state alongside him.

My condolences are with his family, loved ones and all who had the honor of knowing him.
