What's one fact about you – that most of your colleagues don’t know? I love to cook Italian food and was taught by my grandmother, who was from Puglia, Italy. Growing up in Fairfield, Connecticut, Sundays were spent at my grandparents enjoying good times with our large Italian family over amazing meals!
Where do you entertain out of town guests? Touring the lakefront and dinner at one of our Wauwatosa village restaurants.
What was the last music or cultural event you attended? UWM's Jazz Ensemble performance held virtually.
If you had a super power – what would it be? Ability to teleport, so that I can be in any country anytime I want!
What is one professional goal you have for the next 90 days? To lead our international sales and marketing team, as we prepare for increased activity in the second half of 2021 and beyond; to align our key strategies with the goal of helping our customers thrive once again.
How would you describe the 2-year outlook for your industry? The foodservice industry has been very hard hit by the pandemic. Over the next 2 years, we expect to see ramped up growth and recovering sales, as the industry rebounds.
Name one person in the MKE region whom you admire and why. I admire Hatco's CEO, David Rolston, who led our company during the pandemic, the most challenging year in our 70-year history.
How would you describe what MMAC does to support your business? Many of our team members have participated in MMAC / WTA educational programs that have been very beneficial by providing invaluable resources, tools and networking opportunities.
