How does your MMAC membership support your business?

• The DRG has been headquartered in the Milwaukee area for almost 50 years and we’re proud to call this area our home. Membership in organizations like MMAC, that support this region’s business community, helps us harness the synergy of that local connection. When we share the same community, we share a common bond. Our shared experience and mutual interests inform how we can help each other meet upcoming business needs and challenges.

What was the last music or cultural event you attended - in person or virtual?

• Summerfest is the last big music event that I attended. I really consider it part of the fabric of my being, it’s been such a milestone event for me for so many years. The anticipation of it, actually attending it, and then looking back on all the memories, makes this so special. Beyond my own personal enjoyment and appreciation, I also marvel at what a signature event it is for Milwaukee. Our community is so fortunate to have this event right here in our backyard. It’s not only about all the A-list talent that comes to town, but also how this festival brings our community together. I have missed the full celebration of Summerfest over the course of the last two years. I really look forward to its return with a full complement of venues.

How would you describe the 2-year outlook for your industry?

• We have found that COVID has created opportunities resulting in an increased need for marketing research to help companies stay ahead of consumer needs. The pandemic made insights and data more crucial than ever. We are seeing research functions play a bigger role within many organizations. And that research is now supporting more facets of client organizations than ever before. For example, customer experience, employee experience, and brand perceptions are now all more intertwined. The value of the feedback we can provide in those areas and knowing how it can drive direction, not just with one industry, but across industries, makes this an exciting time. We have new innovative ways to collect the data. We can take advantage of more robust digital tools. There are so many ways we can capture what’s going on, by community, by generation – and it all helps us to better understand the insights. And that allows us to further support clients in more strategic ways.
