The Milwaukee 7 Talent Partnership’s new Grow Here Campaign and its Inspire online career-development portal can help you expand your company’s talent pipeline by connecting with students (6th grade through college), their parents and educators to learn about your company’s workforce needs and work-based learning opportunities.

Students can review employer profiles to better understand the business, ask questions of employees, learn about apprenticeship opportunities and view upcoming employer events.

​Inspire connects career counseling activities in local schools with area businesses by offering companies the opportunity to post employer profiles and promote career openings and opportunities to engage in internships, apprenticeships, company tours, job shadowing and mentoring.
 
Join Inspire and create visibility for your company as students and job seekers explore their options on the Inspire website. Through your company profile, you can share information about the work your employees do and the skills they need. You can also provide coaching and activities to help students learn first-hand about career options and education pathways.

GET STARTED

1. Set up a Company Profile 
   Set up and maintain a company profile to describe your business, highlight your unique attributes, and communicate your areas of need to future employees as well as parents and educators.
2. Become a Career Coach
   By spending less than an hour per week, you can share your experience and advice with students by contributing to mediated, threaded discussions online.
3. Offer career-based learning activities
   Engage directly with students and schools by offering company tours, classroom presentations, internships, job shadows and apprenticeships.
