After committing to the series, Norris said participants will build a number of skills, including: understanding themselves and their innate tendencies more clearly; the impact of their behaviors and how to better manage them; developing a mindset of courage; understanding how to better deal with conflict; time management; and influencing others to accomplish what’s needed to serve the business and its customers. Norris said the young talent she works are looking for more than generation’s past. Emerging talent is asking for more than their predecessors. While tenured leadership in organizations often view this as ‘a problem with young people today,’ it is, instead something that should be leveraged,” she said. “Emerging talent is willing to work hard. The quid pro quo for them is that they want an environment that meets their desires for a more balanced, fulfilling lifestyle.”
